Job summary
Harborview Health Systems is seeking an RN/LPN Infection Preventionist to support infection control programs and resident care initiatives. The role emphasizes immunization documentation, antibiotic-use monitoring, and adherence to infection control policies.
Ideal candidates hold an active RN/LPN license with infection control experience, preferably in long-term care, and will complete the Infection Preventionist course within 3 months of hire. Comprehensive benefits are offered.
Qualifications
- Active RN/LPN license in good standing in the state of practice.
- Infection Control experience required.
- Prior LTC RN/LPN experience preferred or equivalent education/experience.
- Infection Preventionist course to be completed within 3 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Assess resident status and develop care plans to improve outcomes.
- Administer and document resident immunizations.
- Monitor, document and report antibiotic use.
- Monitor and report on bowel and bladder care program.
- Conduct rounds to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
