Job summary
Vertical Health Services is seeking an Infection Preventionist (IP Nurse) to lead the Infection Prevention and Control Program. The IPN will serve as a practitioner, resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator for staff, coordinating facility-wide infection prevention efforts.
The role requires RN/LPN licensure in the practicing state, board-certified Infection Prevention and Control, and current BLS/CPR. Full-time schedule is 8a-4:30p with comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus.
Qualifications
- RN/LPN license in the practicing state.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Certification in Infection Prevention and Control is required.
- Experience in nursing management and infection prevention/control.
- Must be certified in Infection Prevention and Control.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate facility-wide Infection Prevention Control Program.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and state regulations (OSHA, APIC, AHOP) and other agencies.
- Prioritize Infection Prevention goals.
- Collaborate with department managers and medical directors as needed.
