Job summary

Aurora Health and Rehabiliation is seeking an experienced Infection Preventionist (IP Nurse) to lead the Infection Prevention and Control Program. RN/LPN with CDC infection prevention certification and BLS/CPR are required; the role supports staff education and program facilitation across the facility.

The position is full-time with benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, HSA contributions, 401(k), paid time off and a sign-on incentive.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensed in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control required.
• Experience in nursing management and infection prevention control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility-wide Infection Prevention Control Program.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and state regulations (OSHA, APIC, AHOP, etc.).
• Prioritize Infection Prevention goals.
• Collaborate with department managers and medical directors as needed.
