The role involves surveillance, education, and development of evidence-based guidelines to support patient safety and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a clinical setting, infection control or public health.
• Infection Control Certification (CIC) preferred.
• Associate/Bachelor in health science, public health, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the IPC program.
• Monitor IPC standards and conduct surveillance using epidemiologic methods.
• Develop IPC education programs for staff and leadership.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve infection prevention outcomes.
• Perform risk assessments and contribute to performance improvement activities.
