Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare field required.
• Infection Control Certification required or obtained within two years.
• Minimum of five years in healthcare with two years in infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead the infection prevention program in collaboration with clinicians.
• Collect, analyze, interpret infection data to identify trends.
• Develop and implement prevention strategies to reduce infection risk.
• Report data to regulatory agencies and senior leadership.
• Educate staff on evidence-based infection prevention practices.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, CDC, and Joint Commission standards.
