Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking an Infection Prevention professional to support the IPC program and promote patient safety across the system. This role assists in implementing infection prevention measures and collaborates with clinical and non-clinical teams to reduce healthcare-associated infections.

Reporting to IP leadership, the position involves data analysis from surveillance, quality improvement participation, and communications with committees to drive action and sustain program

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing, Public Health or related field required.
• One year of healthcare/public health experience required.
• Two years' experience in infection prevention and control preferred.
• CIC certification required within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring the IPC program across the organization.
• Collaborate with IP leadership and clinical/non-clinical staff.
• Utilize HAI surveillance data to identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Prepare reports for Infection Prevention Committee and other bodies.
• Report communicable diseases to public health authorities.
• Support outbreak investigation and response.
