Job summary

Oklahoma Center for Orthopaedic Multi-Specialty Surgery in Oklahoma City, OK, seeks an Infection Preventionist & Clinical Educator, RN to lead the hospital's Infection Prevention and Control Program and its staff education functions.

The role combines surveillance, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, staff development, onboarding, and clinical education to raise patient safety and care standards across the organization. Ideal candidates hold an RN license and CIC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention and control program surveillance, data collection, trend analysis, and reporting.
• Monitor HAIs and implement prevention strategies.
• Develop, revise, and maintain infection prevention policies and risk assessments.
• Lead outbreak investigations and coordinate response efforts.
• Educate staff, providers, patients, and visitors on infection prevention best practices.
• Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
