Job summary

OMHC seeks an Infection Prevention & Clinical Education Leader (RN) to implement the hospital's infection prevention plan and protect patients, staff, and visitors. This role leads education programs, collaborates with medical staff and leadership, and drives surveillance data analysis for action.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in WA state recognized on the WA registry.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with 3+ years in healthcare.
• Lead or management experience preferred (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Implement the Infection Prevention Plan and protect patients, staff, and visitors.
• Collaborate with medical staff, hospital leaders, and community providers on infection prevention initiatives.
• Educate clinical staff on regulatory requirements and notifiable diseases reporting.
• Develop and implement a monthly infection prevention and education program.
• Conduct risk assessments and risk reduction strategies related to infectious disease transmission.
