Job summary

Community Hospital South in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a Full Time Registered Nurse Infection Prevention / Quality Improvement. The role includes surveillance of healthcare-associated infections, education for staff, and employee health support. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered and performance in line with C.A.R.E.S.

values is expected. Required: Oklahoma RN licensure; 3 years acute care preferred; 1 year infection prevention preferred; BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Oklahoma.
• At least 1 year infection prevention experience preferred.
• Completion of basic surveillance course or supervision by an IP.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; CIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain infection control surveillance and educate staff.
• Provide infection prevention services for patient care areas.
• Educate on Standard and Transmission-Based Precautions.
• Assist with CMS/NHSN reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Support employee health services and exposure follow-up.
• Collaborate with Infection Prevention Committee and departments.
