Job summary

VHC Health is seeking an Infection Prevention Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the hospital infection prevention program. You will oversee surveillance activities, coordinate outbreak investigations, educate staff, and drive evidence-based prevention practices to reduce infections and promote patient safety.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (nursing, microbiology, epidemiology, healthcare administration) with five years in healthcare and at least three in infection prevention; CIC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Nursing, Microbiology, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of infection prevention and control program.
• Oversee infection surveillance activities and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate outbreak investigations and staff education.
• Implement evidence-based infection prevention practices and lead quality improvement initiatives.
