Accolade Healthcare in Danville, IL, seeks an Infection Preventionist to lead infection control strategies across the facility, reporting to the Medical Director and Nursing leadership. The role emphasizes collaboration with clinicians, oversight of surveillance, vaccination programs, and compliance.

A current nursing license and Certification in Infection Prevention and Control are required, with at least two years in a long-term care setting.

Competenze

• A current nursing license.
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control.
• Specialty training in Infection Prevention and Control.
• Minimum of two years of LTC experience.
• Strong observation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Partner with Medical Director, Infectious Disease MD/NP, and Corporate Infection Preventionist to set annual goals.
• Collaborate with facility leaders, physicians, and agencies on infection prevention activities.
• Oversee infection prevention, epidemiology, and safety programs.
• Conduct surveillance of healthcare- and community-acquired infections.
• Lead vaccination programs and adherence to Core Principles of Infection Prevention and Control.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations and ensure facility compliance.
