Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking an Infection Preventionist Nurse to plan, implement, and evaluate infection prevention and control across all locations. You will monitor infections, review regulations, and collaborate on educational programs related to infection prevention and epidemiology.

The role requires an active IL RN license, with preference for infection control credentials and long-term care experience. We offer flexible full-time, part-time, and PRN options with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

Long Term Care experience in Infection Prevention preferred.
Must be a Registered Nurse with an IL license in good standing.
Infection Control credentials highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and investigate infections to determine sources and control.
Review regulations and guidelines from governmental agencies and professional organizations.
Collaborate on educational programs/tools related to infection prevention and epidemiology.
Report infection surveillance and control information to local, state, and federal public health authorities.
