Job summary

YNHHS Infection Prevention Support Analyst applies analytical, epidemiologic, and informatics methods to clinical, operational, and surveillance data to support infection prevention, patient safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance across the Yale New Haven Health System.

Working under the Infection Prevention leadership, this role independently evaluates complex healthcare data, identifies infection prevention risks and emerging trends, develops analyses and reports, and translates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MPH preferred.
• Minimum two years healthcare or infection prevention-related experience preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret healthcare data from multiple sources.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports for clinical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical, laboratory, and operational data to identify infection prevention risks.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations.
• Support NHSN reporting, denominator analysis, and outcome measurement.
• Collaborate with Infection Preventionists and leadership for improvement initiatives.
• Assist in regulatory reporting and data governance across systems.
