Job summary

Nicklaus Children's in Florida is seeking a Manager of Infection Prevention & Control to oversee surveillance, prevention and regulatory readiness across Fort Lauderdale and Coral Springs campuses. The role leads a multidisciplinary team and reports to the Director of Infection Prevention.

You will develop policies, coordinate with hospital leadership, ensure NHSN, CDC and OSHA compliance, and drive education and performance improvement initiatives to protect patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BSN, public health or related field required.
• CIC certification by CBIC required and in good standing.
• 3–5 years of IP&C hospital experience and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention surveillance, prevention and control activities across sites.
• Act as primary IP&C leader for assigned campuses; escalate risks to Director.
• Coordinate activities to standardize workflows, surveillance, and reporting.
• Oversee daily department operations and supervise staff.
• Ensure compliance with NHSN, CDC, OSHA and state/federal requirements.
• Participate in committees and regulatory readiness projects.
