Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Manager Infection Prevention & Control to oversee infection surveillance, prevention, and control across Fort Lauderdale and Coral Springs. • Bachelor's degree in health-related field required.
• CIC certification required and in good standing.
• 3–5 years of hospital infection prevention experience.
• 3–5 years regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infection prevention surveillance, prevention and control activities.
• Lead infection prevention across assigned campuses, escalating risks and trends as needed.
• Coordinate infection prevention activities to standardize workflows and reporting.
• Manage daily departmental operations and supervise staff.
• Ensure compliance with NHSN, CDC, OSHA, and federal/state requirements.
• Support regulatory preparedness, audits, and survey responses.
