Frederick Health Hospital is seeking a Manager of Infection Prevention & Control to lead the organization’s infection prevention program and ensure regulatory compliance across inpatient, ambulatory, and offsite areas.

The role reports to the VP of Quality Assurance and Patient Experience and requires CIC certification, a nursing degree, and 10 years in healthcare with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field required.
• Ten years of healthcare experience required.
• CIC certification required.
• Experience with hospital accreditation standards and survey processes.
• Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and communicate across stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for infection prevention and control across the organization.
• Develop and monitor regulatory compliance strategies and improvement plans.
• Coordinate communication of infection prevention activities and outcomes.
• Produce quality reports and metrics for stakeholders.
• Lead NHSN participation and regulatory reporting activities.
• Manage staffing, training, and performance within IPAC.
• Collaborate with Environment of Care and other committees to ensure safety and compliance.
• Oversee data reporting accuracy and outbreak investigations as needed.
