Job summary

Zebulon Rehabilitation Center, a 60-bed skilled nursing facility in Zebulon, NC, is seeking an Infection Control/Staff Development RN to join our caring team. Qualified candidates will hold NC RN licensure, have 2+ years of nursing experience, and be willing to complete CDC IPCO certification within 5 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NC.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
• Long-Term Care or SNF nursing experience preferred or clinical education experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and clinical orientation to new staff.
• Lead live annual training sessions and monthly refreshers.
• Track training attendance, competencies, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct hands-on skills fairs and competency evaluations.
• Lead the Mentor Program and support staff development.
• Oversee Infection Prevention and Infection Control program and educate staff.
