Job summary

Jacksonville Nursing & Rehab Center in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced RN Infection Prevention Control Officer to lead our Infection Prevention and Control Program in a long-term care and sub-acute setting. You will champion resident safety, educate staff, and ensure compliance with CDC updates and state regulations.

The role requires an ASN, RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and IPCO certification within 5 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Infection prevention and control experience in LTC/Sub-Acute care.
• RN license active in the state of practice.
• IPCO certification or willingness to obtain within 5 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Infection Prevention and Control Program in a long-term care and sub-acute setting.
• Identify, investigate, report, prevent and control infections among residents and staff; manage testing schedules.
• Educate staff on CDC updates and regulatory standards and serve as knowledge expert.
