Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as an RN in Rhode Island.
• Must possess an infection control certification and related experience.
• Ability to plan, organize and execute nursing duties with timely decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infection control/prevention activities within the facility to minimize infection risk and monitor quality measures.
• Manage the employee health program and records.
• Audit for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Educate staff on infection control practices.
• NHSN weekly reporting.
• All other duties as required by the DNS and/or NHA.
