Job summary

HopeHealth seeks an experienced Infection Control and Occupational Health RN to lead prevention, investigations, and monitoring of infectious diseases across settings in RI/MA. The role reviews health records for compliance with laws and accrediting bodies.

The RN will implement preventive health measures, training, and auditing to ensure safety standards are met. This part-time position offers benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• RN license in MA and RI.
• Five years healthcare experience with clinical knowledge.
• Two years in Home Care/Hospice setting preferred.
• Experience with infections or communicable diseases.
• Quality assurance and performance improvement experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Certification in Occupational Health or Infection Control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and processes for infection prevention and occupational health compliance.
• Create audits and reporting tools for organizational initiatives.
• Coordinate survey preparation for accreditation and regulatory surveys.
• Analyze quality data and infection control metrics.
• Provide ongoing training on infection prevention and regulatory focus.
• Lead organizational initiatives in infection prevention and safety.
• Collaborate on HopeHealth’s annual Infection Control Plan.
• Review pre-employment health histories and immunization records.
