Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking a Registered Nurse, Coordinator of Infection Disease (CID) to lead infection prevention and control activities within a correctional facility. You will plan, develop, implement, and assess programs to meet contract and accreditation standards.

The role requires RN licensure, at least 2 years of direct nursing experience, and ability to work independently while ensuring confidentiality of medical records and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• Must possess effective communication skills and report writing abilities.
• Ability to present educational material to individuals and groups.
• Knowledge of data collection and reporting practices.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing skills in care and treatment of inmates with infectious disease.
• Monitor patients with infectious disease and document findings.
• Execute physician orders and assist in exams and treatments.
• Document all infectious disease data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Collaborate with Healthcare team and maintain compliance with policies.
