Job summary

Codman Square Health Center, Inc. is seeking an Infection Control Coordinator to lead the organization’s infection prevention and control program across all clinical and operational areas.

You will partner with nursing leadership, quality, facilities, and public health to ensure evidence-based practices and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include surveillance, education, audits, outbreak response, and workflow optimization, with a focus on patient and staff safety and continuous program

Qualifications

• Ambulatory care or community health experience preferred.
• Infection control training completed within defined hire timeframe.
• CMA/RMA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices (hand hygiene, PPE, sterilization, standard precautions).
• Experience supporting clinical workflows and documentation within an EHR (Epic preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate infection prevention and control program across the organization.
• Conduct surveillance, data tracking, and reporting of HAIs and exposure events.
• Develop and maintain infection control policies, procedures and standard work.
• Provide infection prevention education and competency training.
• Lead outbreak management and respond to exposure events.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, quality, facilities, and administration.
