Job summary

Golden Haven is seeking an experienced Infection Control Nurse (LVN) to lead the facility's infection prevention program. You will plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate infection control practices to ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, and state guidelines.

You will collaborate with the DON, leadership, and the Infection Control Committee to prevent infection spread, promote safety, and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in California.
• Infection prevention knowledge and practice.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the infection prevention program.
• Ensure compliance with CDC/OSHA and state/federal regulations.
• Coordinate staff training on infection prevention and PPE.
• Maintain records, reports, and surveillance data.
• Participate in Infection Control Committee meetings and audits.
