Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program required.
• Current California LVN license in good standing required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Two+ years nursing experience preferred (skilled nursing/long-term care).
• Infection prevention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention and control program.
• Monitor infection trends and promote evidence-based practices.
• Educate employees on infection prevention and isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with departments to protect residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain infection logs and surveillance data.
• Prepare monthly infection reports for leadership.
• Assist with outbreak investigations and exposure management.
• Participate in QA, safety, and survey readiness activities.
