Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, shampooing surfaces.
• Collects and disposes of waste, including biohazardous and infectious materials per policies.
• Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices and common areas.
• Responds to spills with proper disinfection and safety precautions.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning and maintenance.
• Monitors supply usage and stores materials safely.
• Reports maintenance and repair needs to supervisor.
• Maintains accurate cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
