Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance.
• Certification in Environmental Services or Healthcare Cleaning (such as CHEST or CHESP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing as needed.
• Collects, removes, and disposes of waste following hospital policies and guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens, replacing with clean bags and proper containment.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Responds to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection.
• Moves furniture and equipment for cleaning or relocation tasks.
• Monitors supplies and ensures safe storage and usage.
• Communicates maintenance needs to supervisor or facilities.
• Maintains cleaning logs and documents tasks.
