Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services in La Plata, MD seeks an Infants and Toddlers School Physical Therapist (PT). Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Maryland licensure to practice physical therapy in the state (if applicable).
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to identify motor skill deficits and physical challenges.
• Develop IFSPs and IEPs based on assessment findings.
• Provide direct and consultative PT services to improve strength, mobility, and coordination.
• Implement evidence-based therapies tailored to each student.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate PT goals into educational plans.
• Participate in IFSP/IEP meetings to provide input and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and progress notes.
