Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Between 17 and 35 years old; high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Citizenship requirements as specified on NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reconnaissance operations.
• Operate and maintain weapon systems and communications gear.
• Engage targets using night vision sights.
• Process prisoners of war and captured documents.
• Aid mobilization of vehicles, troops, and weaponry.
• Perform as a fire team member during training and missions.
• Use and store combat weapons as required.
