DC Army National Guard seeks Infantry Soldiers to fill critical ground-combat roles, participate in reconnaissance, and operate and maintain weapons and communications gear. You will train rigorously in 14 weeks of Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, then serve part-time while earning benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to enlist in the Army National Guard.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reconnaissance operations.
• Employ, fire, and recover anti-personnel and anti-tank mines.
• Operate weapon systems under various conditions, including night vision sights.
• Operate and maintain communications equipment.
• Perform as a member of a fire team during training and combat missions.
• Process prisoners of war and captured documents.
• Aid in mobilization of vehicles, troops, and weaponry.
• Use, maintain, and store combat weapons (e.g., rifles, machine guns, anti-tank mines).
