Job summary

United Way Miami is seeking an Infant Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children ages 0 to 36 months at Lotus Village Center in Downtown Miami. You will support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through Visible Thinking, Dual Language, and early literacy strategies, collaborating with families and staff in a reflective planning process.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm, with benefits including a 401k match, transit

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and DCF hours required.
• CDA in Infant/Toddler preferred or obtainable within first year.
• 18 credits in Early Childhood Education.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program for Early Childhood Education.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide experiences that build on children’s prior experiences.
• Model appropriate behavior and expectations.
• Support children and families with positive discipline.
• Observe, document, and reflect on learning.
• Design reflective curriculum and plan daily activities.
