Job summary

United Way Miami is seeking an Infant Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 0 to 36 months in the Miami area. The role supports early learning through observation, play, and developmental activities aligned with our focus on equity and high-quality care.

The schedule is primarily Monday–Friday 12:30 pm–5:30 pm with a strong emphasis on social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and collaboration with families and staff to promote inclusive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 45 DCF hours required.
• Flexibility and teamwork; inclusive approach.
• Good communication and collaboration with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Observe children daily and plan experiences that build on prior learning.
• Encourage positive behavior and help expand vocabulary through questions.
• Collaborate on materials, activities, and environments to support learning.
• Document health, behavior, growth, and development; report incidents.
• Keep the classroom safe, clean, and accessible for all children.
