The Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) in Nyssa, Oregon is hiring an Infant Toddler Teacher for the Nyssa Site. You will support safety, health, and development in collaboration with families and early childhood professionals, implementing a culturally responsive curriculum aligned with Head Start standards.

Your role includes home visits, conferences with parents, and ongoing assessments to guide learning goals and progress in a nurturing classroom setting.

Qualifications

• CDA or higher in infant/toddler development with required training.
• Experience or coursework in early childhood development with emphasis on infants/toddlers.
• Relevant education credentials per Oregon licensing pathways.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety, health, and development of infants and toddlers.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Supervise children and maintain a safe classroom environment.
• Complete screenings, observations, and individualized learning plans.
• Collaborate with families and specialists to support child growth.
• Conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences.
• Maintain documentation and program records.
• Promote nutrition, health, and safety practices.
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings.
• Provide guidance to staff and volunteers.

Formation

Infant/Toddler CDA certificate

Oregon community college certificate in early childhood

Associate’s degree in Early childhood education

Bachelor’s degree in Early childhood education or child development
