Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Home-Based Early Intervention team. You will assess infants and toddlers, design family-centered treatment plans, and support families in their natural environments.

This role offers flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities to work across home, daycare, and community settings while making a meaningful difference in kids’ development.

Qualifications

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license required.
• Pediatric experience in early intervention preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy services using the family-centered Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in homes, daycare centers and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA and state/federal regulations).
