Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks licensed Physical Therapists to provide home-based Early Intervention (EI) services to infants and toddlers across California.

You will conduct developmental assessments and deliver PT care within families’ homes and community settings. It is important to follow IFSPs, employ the Parent Coaching Model, and collaborate with families to achieve developmental goals while ensuring privacy and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold California DPT license.
• Pediatric EI experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide PT services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and help families develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment: homes, daycare centers, and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
