Job summary

The Learning Experience – Clinton Hill in Brooklyn is seeking a Lead Teacher for our play-based early childhood center serving children six weeks to five years old. This full-time role offers competitive pay and opportunities to contribute to a nurturing, creative learning environment.

Responsibilities include co-teaching with staff, developing engaging lesson plans, and caring for children with activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• New York State Teacher's Certification (Birth - 2nd or elementary), if applicable

Responsibilities

• Engage students with play-based activities to develop social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
• Co-teach with staff to design and implement lesson plans around SEL, themes, and hands-on experiences.
• Perform childcare duties including diapering, feeding, cleaning and nurturing.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.

Education

Associates or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education

5 years experience with infants/toddlers (6 weeks to 24 months)
