Job summary

The Learning Experience – Clinton Hill seeks Lead Teachers for its play-based early childhood program in Brooklyn, serving ages six weeks to five years. Compensation is $24–$26.44/hour with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field is required.
• New York State Teacher's Certification (Birth - 2nd or elementary) if applicable.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with children six weeks to 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Encourage positive student engagement using play-based activities to foster mental, physical, and social development.
• Co-teach with staff to develop and implement lesson plans emphasizing social and emotional learning, curricula, indoor/outdoor play, arts and hands-on experiences.
• Perform all childcare duties including diapering, feeding, cleaning, and nurturing.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management per program needs.
