Job summary

Easterseals Florida is seeking an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) Evaluator to conduct developmental evaluations for infants and toddlers in the Early Steps program under IDEA Part C. You will participate on the evaluation team, recommend services, and document findings to help families access needed supports.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree, ITDS certification in Florida, and related licensing numbers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with 1–2 years of related experience or training.
• Florida Certification as an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS).
• Florida Medicaid Therapy and/or Early Intervention Provider Number.
• NPI Number and CMS Provider Management System enrollment.
• Strong documentation, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to teamwork, empathy, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental evaluations using BDI-2 or another approved tool to determine Early Steps eligibility.
• Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary evaluation team and follow eligibility criteria.
• Serve as a participating member of each child's IFSP Team.
• Recommend appropriate early intervention services based on research, including frequency, intensity, and duration.
• Provide timely, accurate written documentation for each evaluation and service.
• Attend staff meetings, IFSP planning conferences, and trainings as requested.
• Deliver early intervention services to enrolled children.
• Submit all clinic and billing documentation promptly.
