Job summary

Akin is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join the ESIT team, delivering services to children ages 0-3 with neuromuscular or developmental speech and language delays. You will work closely with families to craft child-focused plans and collaborate with the ESIT team and FRCs.

The role emphasizes HIPAA-compliant care, hybrid work options, and ongoing professional development while supporting diverse families and communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and state license in WA.
• Experience with children ages 0-3.
• Experience with diverse populations.
• Current pediatric CPR, first aid, AED, HIV, and bloodborne pathogens.
• Valid WA driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and provide speech therapy to children 0-3.
• Collaborate with ESIT team, FRCs, and staff on IFSPs and goals.
• Maintain case records and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide direct, indirect, or consultative services for communication disorders.
• Engage and empower parents in sessions and training.
