Job summary

Akin is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for its ESIT team to support infants and toddlers with developmental and language delays. The position focuses on evaluative, therapeutic, and consultative services for children with speech, language, feeding, cognitive, and hearing needs.

Collaboration with caregivers is essential to develop child-centered plans. The role emphasizes interdisciplinary teamwork, family engagement, and ongoing professional development within a hybrid work arrangement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and WA state licensure are required.
• Experience working with children ages 0-3 is required.
• Experience interacting with diverse populations is preferred.
• Must pass portable background check and TB test.
• CPR, first aid, and AED certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and provides speech therapy to children ages 0-3.
• Collaborates with ESIT team, FRCs, and staff on IFSPs and goals.
• Maintains documentation and ensures compliance with Part C and policies.
• Provides direct/indirect/consultative services for communication disorders.
• Communicates with insurers, school districts, and outside resources.
