Job summary

Akin seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to join the ESIT team, delivering high-quality Early Intervention services for birth to three. You will partner with families in homes and communities, coaching parents and helping children develop motor skills for everyday life.

You’ll collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure holistic, culturally relevant support, participate in IFSP goal setting, and support transitions to school or community programs while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with valid Washington State PT licensure.
• Experience with infants and toddlers ages 0–3.
• Experience with diverse populations and communities.
• Pass a portable background check through Department of Early Learning.
• TB test within 12 months prior to hire.
• Current Pediatric/Adult CPR, first aid, AED and infection-control training.
• Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide motor therapy and developmental supports in home/community settings.
• Coach families using a parent coaching model to support functional skills.
• Develop IFSP goals for child and family and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and coordinate with Family Resource Coordinators.
• Complete documentation and billing in a timely, compliant manner.
