Job summary

State of Utah is seeking a Developmental Specialist to provide evaluation, assessment, intervention, and support to infants and toddlers (birth to age three) with developmental delays or disabilities in a family-centered model.

You will conduct evaluations, develop IFSPs, and deliver services in natural environments such as the family home, while coaching families and monitoring progress as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and early intervention practices.
• Ability to move between service locations and manage a flexible schedule.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Active engagement with young children.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental evaluations, screenings, and ongoing assessments across domains.
• Develop and implement individualized family service plans (IFSP).
• Provide direct services in natural environments including the family home.
• Coach and educate families on strategies to support development within routines.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data and family response.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and maintain documentation.
