SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking an Early Intervention Developmental Specialist to provide home, center, and community-based services to birth to 3-year-olds with developmental delays.

You will coach families using a parent coaching model and work as part of a trans-disciplinary team delivering screenings, assessments, and plan development. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree related to infants and toddlers, 300 hours of practicum or equivalent, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in infants and toddlers, early childhood education, special education or child studies.
• 300 hours of practicum or work experience with children under five.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
• Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
• Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.
