Job summary

Community Action Agency seeks an Early Head Start professional to provide developmental expertise in infant/toddler development as part of an interdisciplinary team. Weekly home visits to families focus on school readiness, bonding, and family partnership processes.

The role includes family engagement, case management, referrals to community programs, documentation, and collaboration with education and health professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required.
• Two years’ related work experience preferred.
• Infant/toddler development and family dynamics knowledge desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly home visits to families with infants/toddlers to promote school readiness.
• Maintain a caseload and deliver case management in the Infant Mental Health model.
• Recruitment to maintain full enrollment and collaborate with community partners.
• Document all family contacts and referrals in the data management system.
• Coordinate with interagency teams and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
