Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA credential for Infant and Toddler Caregivers, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and email; able to perform basic mathematical operations.
• Able to direct activities of others, provide training and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Will plan and implement developmentally appropriate plans for infants and toddlers with individualized considerations.
• Act as a resource and advocate to parents in child development, health, education and community resources.
• Supervise, evaluate and mentor Teacher Assistants and/or Aides.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports, newsletters and documentation.
• Provide opportunities for family literacy services and conduct parent conferences.
