CCS Early Learning's Palmer Center Early Head Start is hiring an Infant-Toddler Classroom Aide. The role supports the teacher with developmentally appropriate activities and care, promoting health, nutrition and safety for enrolled children.
Schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, full-year 48 weeks. DOE and education determine salary; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement with matching contributions.
To assist the teacher and cooperate in a supportive role, providing and carrying out developmentally appropriate activities and care. To promote the health, nutrition, and education of the children enrolled in our Early Head Start programs and to attend to their safety and welfare.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of early childhood education practices, generally gained through six months of experience caring for infants and toddlers preferably in a center-based environment Infant Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred upon hire – and required after two years High school diploma or GED Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Valid Driver’s License, current auto insurance and a good driving record
