Job summary

CCS Early Learning in Wasilla is seeking an Infant-Toddler Classroom Aide for Wasilla Early Head Start. You will assist the teacher in providing developmentally appropriate activities and care to promote health, nutrition, education and safety for young children.

The role requires knowledge of early childhood education or CDA credential (preferred), ability to lift 50 pounds, and a high school diploma or GED with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood education practices, typically gained through six months of experience caring for infants and toddlers in a center-based setting.
• Infant-Toddler CDA credential preferred upon hire.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with auto insurance and a good driving record.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/wk), full-year (48 weeks/yr) Salary: $17.45 – $23.27 per hour DOE and education.
