Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Child Care Provider in a licensed early childhood program in Mississippi. The role focuses on supervising infants and toddlers, ensuring safety, and supporting daily learning activities.

Ideal candidates hold at least an Associate or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, have two years preschool classroom experience, and strong communication and computer skills to maintain records and coordinate with families.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related field with infant/toddler focus.
• Two years of preschool classroom experience.
• Ability to adapt curriculum for diverse populations and at-risk groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to four infants/toddlers at a time.
• Provide constant supervision of children by sight and hearing daily.
• Organize and set up learning centers at the start of each school year.
• Screen and assess assigned children within 45 days of enrollment.
• Maintain up-to-date records in the tracking systems per schedule.
• Ensure feeding per EHS manual and USDA guidance.
• Develop and utilize bi-weekly lesson plans reflecting diversity.
• Observe children and document progress in anecdotal notes.
• Report staffing needs and changes to Center Administration immediately.
• Supervise volunteers in the classroom.
