Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related area with a minimum of six courses focusing on infant/toddler development.
• Two years experience in preschool classroom with ability to adapt curriculum for diverse populations.
• Oral and written communication skills to support feedback from parents and staff.
• Strong computer skills including spreadsheets, databases, presentations and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise no more than four infants/toddlers at a time and oversee volunteers in the classroom.
• Follow an approved curriculum to provide quality early childhood learning experiences.
• Organize learning centers and adjust infant environments as children grow and develop.
• Maintain up-to-date record-keeping and reporting per agency guidelines.
