Job summary

Babilou Family US in Norwood, MA, seeks a Certified Teacher to lead a safe, nurturing classroom and implement a high-quality curriculum aligned with Sustainable Education. You will guide the teaching team and model environmentally responsible practices for long-term child wellbeing.

You will supervise learning activities, engage families, and participate in ongoing professional development to strengthen classroom systems and sustainability initiatives across the school.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to sustainable education practices and environmental stewardship.
• Active teaching certification as required by state licensing.
• Experience teaching young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development, curriculum design, and classroom safety standards.
• Ability to lead classroom operations and mentor support staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom leadership and sustainable education practices.
• Supervise children during activities, meals, and transitions with safety in mind.
