Job summary

Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking an Infant Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood team. This role is ideal for someone who loves nurturing babies and supporting their development in a calm, responsive classroom.

You will assist with daily routines, engage infants in developmentally appropriate activities, and work closely with lead teachers to ensure a safe, loving learning environment for young children.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Pass a background check.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Able to meet state childcare licensing health and safety requirements.
• Able to lift, carry, and support infants up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable with diapering, feeding, and soothing routines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Infant Teacher with daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap routines.
• Help maintain a warm, predictable environment that supports bonding and early development.
• Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory play, tummy time, and early learning activities.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
• Communicate positively with families and team members.
• Follow all licensing, safety, and health guidelines as well as center policies.
